What is ‘My Back Pages’?
I’ve developed websites since the late Nineties. Though it has underwent many changes, refreshes, and resets, I’ve maintained my personal website at JeremySarber.com since 2007. I use the most recent iteration to publish my Bible study notes and related thoughts, Scripture-focused writings, sermons, and podcast. I, then, send every post to my mailing list.
Occasionally, I have an itch to write about things that would not likely interest my typical reader or member of the mailing list, so I refrain. Recently, I began looking at various options for publishing “off-topic” material. I considered txti, Micro.blog, and Haven to name a few.
Though I haven’t altogether ruled out Haven—it is what a social network ought to be, in my opinion—I decided to simply start a new (Blot) blog on the same domain. In fact, most of the code is copied directly from my primary website. I call it My Back Pages.
For now, the only way to subscribe is by RSS. Alternatively, you could always bookmark the page and visit as often as you’d like.
